SUP-RD902T Radar Level Sensor

The radar level meter emits very short microwave pulses of very low energy which are transmitted and received by the antenna system.


Introduction

Radar level meter is a general-purpose radar level sensor, which is based on the time travel principle of measuring instruments, radar waves run at the speed of light, the running time can be converted into level signals through electronic components. The probe sends out high frequency pulses that travel at the speed of light in space. When the pulses meet the material surface, they are reflected back and received by the receiver inside the meter, and the distance signal is converted into a level signal.

Intelligent radar level meter is suitable for non-contact continuous level measurement of liquids, slurries and granular materials, and is suitable for occasions with large changes in temperature and pressure; the presence of inert gases and volatiles. It adopts the measurement method of microwave pulse and can work normally in the industrial frequency band range. The beam energy is low and can be installed in various metal and non-metal containers or pipes, which is harmless to human body and environment.

Be installed in the diameter of the 1/4 or 1/6.   

Note: The minimum distance from the tank 

wall should be 200mm.

The top conical tank level, can be installed at 

the top of the tank is intermediate, can guarantee 

the measurement to the conical bottom

 A feed antenna to the vertical alignment surface.  

 If the surface is rough, stack angle must be used 

 to adjust the angle of cardan flange of the antenna 

 to the alignment surface.
