Introduction

SUP-LDGS sanitary magnetic flow meter is applicable for all food grade conductive liquids measure, such as drinking water, food processing, pharmaceutical industry and many others. Typical applications are monitoring accurate measurements in liquid, metering and custody transfer.

There is a complete electrically insulating lining on the inner side of the measuring tube and on the sealing surface of the flange. It is in direct contact with the measured liquid, and its function is to increase the corrosion resistance of the measurement conduit and prevent the induced potential from being short-circuited by the metal measurement conduit wall. The lining material is mostly corrosion-resistant, high temperature resistant, wear-resistant PTFE plastic, ceramic, etc.

Induced potential signal generated by the liquid flow is very weak, subject to a variety of interference factors, the role of the converter is to amplify and convert the induced potential signal into a unified standard signal and suppress the main interference signal. Its task is to convert the induction potential signal detected by the electrode Ex into a unified standard DC signal by amplification.

Measuring principle

The sanitary magnetic flow meter works based on Faraday's law, and measure conductive medium with conductivity more than 5 μs/cm and flow range from 0.2 to 15 m/s. An Electromagnetic Flowmeter is a volumetric Flowmeter that measures the flow velocity of a liquid through a pipe. 

The measurement principle of magnetic flowmeters can be described as follows: when the liquid goes through the pipe at the flow rate of v with a diameter D, within which a magnetic flux density of B is created by an exciting coil, the following electromotive E is generated in proportion to flow speed v:
