The conductivity indicator is also a wide temperature range online water quality analysis instrument developed for industrial thermal cleaning of mechanical parts, industrial circulating water and other high-end water quality management operating in a hig
The two electrode plates (or cylindrical electrodes) parallel to each other and at a fixed distance L are placed in the measured solution, and a certain electric potential is added at both ends of the plates. The electric potential is added to the two ends of the electrode plate, and under the action of electric field, the charged ions move in a certain direction, the anions in the water move to the anode, and the cations move to the cathode. The ions move to the anode and the ions move to the cathode, making the aqueous solution conductive, and then the current I flowing between the plates is measured and the conductivity γ is calculated.
R -- solution resistance, Ω
G -- solution resistivity, Ω-cm
L -- distance between metal plates, cm
S -- the effective cross-sectional area of the solution conductive, cm²
